The front and back strap have been custom stippled.Īlso included are the original checkered plastic panels with smooth borders. The panels rate in about Fine-Plus condition. The right panel shows some faint discoloration in the checkering. The checkering shows light handling wear. Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered aftermarket black panels. The original sights are also included and are of similar configuration but instead have white squares rather than tritium lamps. The lamps hold a decent glow in low light environments.
The rear sight is a square notch with two tritium lamps that is dovetailed to the rear of the slide. The front sight is a blade with a tritium lamp that is dovetailed to the front of the slide. Sights / Optics: Trijicon night sights are installed. The left side of the hammer and slide stop are marked “RDIH”. The bottom of the firing pin housing is marked with a Belgian proof mark. The right side of the slide is marked “FN HERSTAL BELGIUM” and the left side is marked with a circled “FN” logo. The left trigger guard bow is marked with a Belgian proof mark. The left side of the frame is marked “FNMI, Columbia, SC”. The right side of the barrel lug is marked with a “* / Z” inspection mark and a Belgian proof mark, the left side is marked “2”. The right side of the chamber is marked “CAL 40 S & W / 513MX50306”. Markings: The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number.
